Gravenhurst Banner and Bracebridge Examiner Feature PuroClean of North Simcoe and Muskoka
The Gravenhurst Banner and the Bracebridge Examiner recently featured the work of our dedicated team in the wake of Hurricane Fiona. PuroClean of North Simcoe and Muskoka was honored to be highlighted in their September 30th, 2022, edition.
In the article, which can be read online here, franchise owner Eric Gonneau talks about his decision to move his skilled team to Nova Scotia to assist with the recovery efforts. He mentions wanting to assist other PuroClean offices that are overrun with jobs from the crisis, as well as helping the community of Nova Scotia get back on its feet.
Gonneau said that at least three technicians would make the trip and remain there for two to three weeks to ensure adequate assistance is given to those who need it in the wake of Hurricane Fiona. The plan is to assist the Breton office, but Gonneau said that plans might change if more issues arise while they’re there.
The damage from Hurricane Fiona was extensive, with CBC News reporting that more than 250,000 residents were without power by the morning following the storm’s passage through on September 24th, 2022. Recovery efforts are underway as crews work to clear debris and restore lines while mitigating flooding or washed-out roads caused by the extreme weather. PuroClean of North Simcoe and Muskoka will be on the front lines, helping mitigate as much weather-related damage as possible.
