Upon our arrival, we discovered water damage and dilapidated ceiling drywall in the foyer and gathering room located on the church’s second floor. There were more stained ceiling spaces and smaller areas of drywall damage in the room below. The source of the water damage was a leak located directly below the faired roof drainage pipe.

A Unique Water Damage Restoration

This restoration was unlike any usual home or business restoration because of the church’s structural components.

The two challenges we faced were the church’s 11-foot ceilings and the amount of ceiling space that required complete wall and floor protection. Additionally, we had to clear the foyer for Sunday services. To ensure they went on without delay, we removed the protection every Saturday and reinstalled it on Monday to resume our work.

The church accommodated our work by moving weekly activities into different spaces during the weekdays. We were also able to leave the fellowship room in the construction state over the weekend and block its access for safety purposes.

Our extraordinary team worked a few Saturday evenings to ensure the water damage restoration was ready on time. We also want to thank our subcontractors, whose quick drywalling and painting efforts came through. They communicated their schedule efficiently to coordinate start times and assist with the Saturday clean-up.

Ultimately, the church was happy with our work and ability to maneuver around their scheduled classes and masses.
