PuroClean North Simcoe and Muskoka provides 24-hour emergency, plus cleaning and rebuild services to people who have suffered water, fire, asbestos, biological, and mould damage to their homes and businesses.

Position Summary

The Project Manager is a leader within the organization and is responsible for the sales activity of the office directly with the customer or insurance representative, by creating accurate estimates of all jobs, then ensuring the work is completed in a note-worthy fashion. The Project Manager maintains and improves the office’s competitive position through exceptional customer service, while ensuring maximum sales revenue at minimum cost through accurate estimating plus exceptional project scheduling and procurement to ensure appropriate margins are achieved on all assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Attend new assignments to initiate claims process
  • Deliver preliminary reports to the insurance representative within 24 hours of the initial inspection
  • Determine services required to mitigate customer losses and prepare cost estimates for each phase of the assignment
  • Organize emergency, contents, cleaning and rebuild crews/subcontractors as needed for each assignment
  • Maintain appropriate turn around times for the reporting and invoicing on all assignments
  • Act as a liaison for job needs between customers, adjustors and the production crews, including arranging and attending pre-job conferences and any work quality issues
  • Update and manage all Restoration Manager and Xactanalysis data associated with specific jobs as to meet insurance reporting requirements
  • Promptly communicate Change Orders for customer additions or upgrade
  • Maintain a positive relationship with other companies in the restoration, reconstruction and insurance industries and other related industries
  • Participate in after hours ‘on call’ rotation including taking calls, dispatching and attending losses if/when required

 

Qualifications

  • Prior project management in an engineering/construction environmental an asset
  • Prior experience in the restoration industry an asset
  • IICRC Certification in Water Remediation Technician (WRT) and/or Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) and/or Mould (AMRT) an asset
  • Asbestos remediation certification an asset
  • Experience with Restoration Manager, Xactanalysis, Xactimate an asset
  • Understanding of provincial safety guidelines and ability to manage them on site and while traveling
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • A clean driving record and valid G driver’s license is mandatory

Job Type/Schedule

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Rotating on-call schedule
  • Weekend/holiday availability (when on call)
  • Occasional overtime
