Recently we received a call concerning an elderly widower living southeast of Brechin, Ontario. In his advanced age, the man was experiencing mobility issues, rendering him unable to properly care for himself. Sadly, the situation became bad enough inside the property that a deep sanitation and biohazard cleanup was necessary. In order to regain some independence and comfort, the man needed PuroClean.

Our crew arrived promptly with proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to help improve the homeowner’s living situation. Our technicians started by emptying the contents of the home into bins. These items were then sorted through and salvageable items were kept while everything else was discarded. It was necessary to remove all furniture and belongings before the mould removal and cleanup process could begin.

Unfortunately, we found that most of the furniture was beyond saving. The homeowner had a couple of antique pieces of furniture that held sentimental value. He was quite upset about losing these pieces. Our technicians went the extra mile to work and restore what they could. It was a wonderful feeling seeing the genuine happiness this brought our client. He was thrilled to see that his special furniture had been restored.

It took our crew three days to complete the biohazard and mould cleanup. With hard work and compassion, our team was able to help this man get his home back up and liveable. While it was difficult to see the suffering he had experienced, we were happy when our work was done and our customer was beyond satisfied.
